‘A Loss for the Ummah’: Top Pakistani Scholar Offers Solemn Tribute to Martyred Iranian Official

The head of Pakistan’s Imamiyya Ulama Council has expressed profound sorrow over the martyrdom of senior Iranian official Dr. Ali Larijani, extending his condolences to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the brave Iranian nation, and the bereaved family.

Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Syed Shafqat Hussain Shirazi, who also serves as the Foreign Secretary of Pakistan’s Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, issued a statement commemorating the late official.

Dr. Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, was martyred in a Zionist regime attack, along with his son.

In his message, Shirazi described the event as a stark embodiment of the Holy Verse: “Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant they made with Allah; of them is he who has fulfilled his vow” (33:23).

The Pakistani cleric emphasized that the esteemed martyr was one of the most influential and trustworthy figures in the Islamic Republic, noting his key role in national security, strategic affairs, policymaking, and the regional relations of the Islamic Revolution.

“He left behind an indelible legacy of outstanding services,” Shirazi added.

Concluding his message, the head of the Imamiyya Ulama Council offered prayers for the family of the revered martyr.

“I once again extend my condolences to the honorable family of this esteemed martyr and beseech the Almighty to grant the survivors patient fortitude and great reward,” he stated.

“May Allah elevate the ranks of this blessed martyr through His vast mercy, grant the noble Iranian nation dignity and honor against its enemies, and protect the Islamic Revolution of Iran,” the cleric added.
